We are a Veteran operated Non-Profit Organization. We understand the unique needs of our heroes and their families. We care. We understand. We've been there.

Therapy Sessions are Confidential & Private. There are no volunteers on site intruding on sessions. Your anonymity and privacy is protected at Sunny Creek Ranch! 

Our Horses For Heroes program is operated by Licensed and Certified Professionals. This is not just time with horses...we offer real therapy that makes a real difference. We provide Certified Equine Assisted Psychotherapy sessions for Veterans, First Responders, & their immediate family members at no cost. There is no horseback riding involved in our programs. We utilize ground-based horse & human interactions to help with the healing, learning, and growing process. 

Spring & Summer 2025 schedule: drop-in small group sessions meet every Tuesday & Thursday 9am-11am. Please check our socials for updates especially during weather events or holidays. If scholarship funding is available, private veteran & first responder sessions, marriage counseling, & family sessions are scheduled  by appointment Monday-Friday. DD214 or valid Proof of Service is required for our Horses For Heroes program.
 

Build trust, develop better communication skills, & learn to manage emotions by working with the horses in our Equine Therapy programs. Discover ways to reconnect, de-stress, & communicate more effectively through the horse-human connection. We address stress, anger, PTSD, MST, depression, anxiety, suicide prevention, communication skills, relationships with loved ones, boundaries, civilian adjustment issues, & many more. 

We serve all branches, all ages, all ability levels, combat or peacetime. Please wear boots or closed toe shoes. We work with the horses on the ground, no horseback riding is involved and no prior horse experience is necessary. Our sessions are hands on, experiential, & solution oriented. We operate year round except in extreme temperatures, heavy rain or lightening.
